DENTISTS!!

Well, I should have known....

I have to return to the dentist next Wednesday at 8:30am to have one of my old fillings replaced. It has to be one from back when I was 8 or 9 (that was a rough year cavity-wise) so I told her I was rather attached to it and would really like to keep it.

She said be here on Wednesday. I asked if I could get novacain, gas, the works.

She just smiled and walked out.

No wonder I hate dentists

Dentist

I'm trying to get back to regular posts but as you can see I'm not having much success.

BTW I have a regular dentist appointment tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8:30AM and I'm not really looking forward to it (as if I EVER am)

Unless I have some major dental problem that I am currently unaware of crop up unexpectedly I should be back later that day with a post on most of my thoughts.

Damn cold

Man, that cold knock me down, dragged me around like a sack of dead fish, held me up with one fist while it went into my chest and had me hacking up chucks of my lung that looked like spoonfuls of oatmeal, slapped me around until my nose was screaming, threw me down again and stomped on my head until I couldn't swallow Tylenal fast enough.

Then it hit everyone else in my family, hard, except my dear sweet daughter.

Oh, did I mention that she had a tiny cold first, and gave the worst of it to the rest of us???

I NEED TISSUES!!

I'm still fighting this damn cold (all while coaching my son's baseball team, repairing the walls in the bathroom, buying a new car, figuring out my taxes....and still going to work)

What a pain. I feel just lousy enough to feel annoyed and crappy but not bad enough to stay home and waste a sick day. Nope, I'm saving those for when I REALLY need them, like taking a sick day to go see a movie or take in a Marlins baseball game (hey, pretend you don't know about this on Opening Day, 4/5!!)

I've been reading a book by Hunter S Thompson, that gonzo guy who killed himself the other day. It's a compilation of all his sports columns from some magazine. I don’t know, I don’t see what was so great about him. All it seems he did was complain….about nearly everything. Some of his stuff was funny, but not enough to make it worth buying the magazine each month.

Anyway, I’m now gonna go have some tea. And blow my nose. Again.

Where's the tissues?!?

Maybe it's me...I've been fighting a cold since last week. And so far I'm losing....

HELLO?!

It's either the computer or me, I haven't been able to get on lately.
